I believe there is no person in the world that does not want to travel the globe. It is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. And we do not travel to escape life, but so that life does not escape us. But then again, if you think about it, you will realize that sometimes it is not the destination that matters, but the journey along the way. Airplane flights, switching buses and walking around carelessly not having a care whether you are lost or somewhere near your hotel is the so much needed state of mind while daydreaming of escaping the office life. No worries at all. Just walking around and exploring.

But there is no way you would enjoy your trip without taking with you your favourite ladies travel bag that fits most of your basic essentials. And you surely need it because you do want to take everything with you to look good on the multitude photos you plan on taking, right? Once you have planned your trip and have your plane tickets, it is time to take a deep breath and find yourself one or maybe even two ideal ladies travel bags that will make the sweet problems of packing and meeting plane requirements easier. I am sure you have heard a lot of things related to some of carry-on bags rules, however, not all of them are true and apply to every company. Take a look at the five biggest myths for carry-on bags.

  1. All of the major airlines require carry-on bags with a standard size

Wrong! Besides the fact that airlines in general have become more strict in enforcing carry-on rules, almost every airline allows you to take a carry-on bag that measures around 60 – 40 – 10 cm. Your bag needs to have the size required by the airline company that you are travelling with so that it perfectly fits the space reserved for these bags and causes no unwanted problems. Therefore, make sure you follow the rules.

  2. The flight attendant should take care of your carry-on luggage

Well, definitely no. They may help you safely store your luggage or help you if you have any problems with it, but they are definitely not obligated to take care of each passenger’s bag. Their job is to welcome you, to provide you with the necessary information for the flight, to serve you food and drinks and similar.

  3. You cannot have anything stolen from your carry-on bag

Stealing while on a flight is definitely not a good idea. However, that does not necessarily mean that it does not happen. For that purpose, make sure you keep your valuables safe and buy a ladies travel bag that has a safety lock.

  4. Laws have been changed regarding to which carry-on bag items are allowed.

When travelling abroad, it is of utmost importance to be familiar which items you are not allowed to carry on and which you are. Carrying guns and firearms with you on a plane is a big No. Also, any iron or metal made items, like pocket knives, scissors, nail clippers, black and smokeless powders, compressed gas cylinders for medical use or as part of a self-inflating life jacket are also some of the things prohibited to transport.

  5. Airlines do not charge for carry-on bags

Another myth of course. Actually, it all depends on the class ticket you have. More or less, you have to get out your wallet and pay the fee for every checked bag. Some airports may charge fee if your carry-on bag is overweight or too big to fit the cabinet.
